Howzit!? Blaine here, owner and operator of Skin and Bones Cinema. When I’m not filming weddings I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, and two dogs. I also like to film surf and play soccer. I love to travel but love being home just as much. I drink too much coffee and have a slight addiction to tattoos. I have been filming and editing weddings for almost 8 years now and my love for it continues to grow!
I am deeply grateful and honored for each and every wedding I am able to do.
I would say I have a calm and laid back approach to videography. Making sure my couples are as comfortable and relaxed as possible through guided prompts and easy direction, helps to bring out your unique personality which really shines through when it comes to video. My wedding films can be best described as a fun mix of “documentary” and “cinema” style edits that evoke warmth and emotion. My color grading is true to life but not overly saturated. My music selection varies depending on the type of wedding but I do keep it traditional for the most part. I also love collaborating on ideas and inspiration as it helps with my editing process. From the little details to the big moments and the candid in betweens, I am always pushing for new and creative ways to tell your story.
